DIANA HECHT was born in Pasadena, California. She attended Colorado Women's College where she majored in Art and Secondary Education. She graduated with a BA degree from Colorado Women's College in 1969 with honors in Art.
Diana's teaching career began in 1983 with a group of ten students. Today, she teaches once a week at her studio in Pasadena.
She spends as much time as possible either painting at her studio or outside "en plein air."
Diana has exhibited in many group shows and numerous California Art Club Exhibitions including the 96th, 97th, 98th, and 99th Gold Medal Juried Exhibitions at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. More recently, her paintings have been shown at the Old Mill Gallery and Pearls Boutique in San Marino.
Her paintings hang in collector’s homes throughout California as well as in, New York City, Hong Kong, London and Germany.
She is an Artist member of The California Art Club and Oil Painters of America.
